I got the music!!!!

So, today I feel like talking about music. My sister was wondering what life would be if we didn’t have it. My response? TORTURE!

You just cannot go through life musicless. It’s inconceivable. But then I got to thinking about it even further. Music has a bigger effect on people than what most people realize. It’s a way of expressing what the songwriters/players are thinking, but ALSO it’s something that expresses the people who listen to them. For example, when you are in love with someone, you tend to sing love songs. When you’re angry at someone, you tend to listen to angry music to get it all out of your system.

So, in a sense, not only is music fun and awesome to listen to, it’s healthy. It gets the brain going. Some people, like me, even have a hard time focusing on the school day ahead if there isn’t any music. Thank God for the internet!!

Speaking of music, today’s song coincidentally happens to be “Jet Lag” by Simple Plan, Ft. Natasha Bedingfield. This song is about two people who are separated by a physical distance, but they miss each other like crazy and can’t wait to be together again. I just heard this song a few days ago, and ever since then I’ve been in love with it.

FINALLY!!!

Ok, so it's about time that I got my lap top, seems like I waited forever and a day. So now, whenever I have free time, I can post on here and...procrastinate! XD

So one thing that I would like to hear opinions on is online school. Is it good or bad?

Well for me, it's a good thing. I can focus more, plus the classes are the shizit! WAY more fun than public school. But there is something lacking. No more seeing friends face to face. But, while I miss my friends that i used to see every day, I find it easier to make friends online than in real life. You aren't judged right away, which something that I really rather like. I'm not gorgeous, but most of the time in real life, people would only talk to me because I'm pretty, not because I happen to like to same music or anything else that I like. It sucked, for the most part. But with online? Completely better!!

Thank God for internet.

So, song of the day is: "Hanging by a moment" by Lifehouse. Lifehouse does mostly romantic songs, but in a Rock form, so it's all good :) We've all had those moments with someone special with whom we wished time would just freeze for.

Anyways, to my few followers, have a great week, and I will post again when possible! :D

A day to honor

These acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our nation into chaos and retreat.

But they have failed; our country is strong.

10 years.

It's been 10 years since that terrorist attack that left a major impression on we Americans. On that day, thousands of people were left missing family and friends. On that day, America mourned as a nation. And on that day, America gathered a sense of patriotism like non seen before.

This post is for those who have lost loved ones, and for those who survived it. I say this is a day that we should always remember.

"... for those of us who lived through these events, the only marker we’ll ever need is the tick of a clock at the 46th minute of the eighth hour of the 11th day."
~President George W. Bush

God Bless America.

Z.any O.nerous M.end B.asket I.dentity E.xistence S.erious= Z.O.M.B.I.E.S

So, I've decided to think ahead. You see this very nice looking sniper rifle up there? Yeah, I want one of those for when the zombies start trying to eat my face off. Just saying, you never know when it's going to happen. Better be safe than sorry, right? Of course! I was thinking about this, because in my dream last night, I was holding an M16 against my thigh, which was stupid of me I have no idear why I was dreaming that, and then it went off, leaving this giant bruise on my leg. I fell down because of that, right as the zombies started to attack. Great. I got turned into a zombie because of the freaking safety being turned off. You'd think that turning the safety off on a gun would probably save you.

Anyways, I decided that I want my arsenal to be a nice sniper rifle that I can use to shoot things from a distance, and where I won't have to completely steady it with my body, and then have a tool belt equipped with a monkey wrench, sludge hammer, butcher knives, and a machete. Can't say that I don't think ahead! :D

Now that my little zombie rant is over, I would like to point out something that is wrong with the economy: well that would be pretty much everything. These days, we 'mercans are becoming more and more uneducated, which really isn't doing us any favors. I mean, c'mon! We're getting beat by Japan and India, two countries who aren't as fortunate as us! What's the dealeo here?! Maybe we're tooo busy adding onto the National debt, which is currently 14 trillion mind you, rather than educating our own people. Does that make sense to you? It doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Gosh, the government really needs to do some re-thinking, I think.

So, song of the day is this: "Bent" by Matchbox 20. This song basically means that you should accept people how they come, even if they are "bent" and a little crazy. (like me coughcough)

And as for quote of the day, I dont have one yet XD sorry, been a busy week y'all!

I am back (duh duh duhhhhhh)!

Hey everyone! Long time no blog, I know. Trust me, when things get more up and running I will be blogging more :) So, summer was boring and exciting on and off. Boring because I didn't get to talk to certain people, sadly. But it was fun because I got to go see the Captain america movie, which was totally AWESOME.
Anyways, to get the year started, I'm going to list the random song of the day. Here y'all go, it's “Kristy are you doing okay?” by the Offspring. Such an awesome band, and this song really pulls the heartstrings I think. An ex bf checks to see if his ex gf is okay, not many bfs do that nowadays.
Your quote of the day is: “Live like heaven begins tomorrow, sing like no one is listening, dance like no one is watching, love like you've never been loved before.” I have no idear who came up with that, but I love it. Although, my parents get annoyed whenever I sing like no one is listening XD hahaha! Oh, and I would like to mention that I have a youtube channel!! Some of my singing is there, so if you feel like listening, check out artangel17 on youtube. later people!!

(I love this little itty bitty goat. He was trying to eat the grass on the other side because it was greener xD he sure is trying! Too bad he wasn't small enough to fit through the hole though....)

the END IS HERE!!! D:

so, not much happened this past weekend. saw a couple of movies, drew some pics, that was just about it lol!

But alas, the school year is over, so most likely I won't be on here until next school year :( hopefully this won't expire or somethin.

To my followers, I WILL MISS YOU ALL!!

I will try my best to keep in touch with you all! :D

So, for the last time for now, I leave you with the song and words of wisdom :)

Song: "numb" by Linkin Park. This song is perfect for people who go through tough relationships. Up until recently, this song was the song of my life. But thank God it's switched tracks :D

Words: These are special, they're from me (lol!). All I gotta say is...Live life to the fullest. You never know when it's gonna end, so live it up and just have fun while you got it.

F.U.T.U.R.E. = forever utilize tip uneasy raucous employment

http://www.acromaker.com/future (For the title, I used this site that makes acronyms)

Hello to all my followers out there (even though there's only 4 XD)!! I know I know, it's been a few days since I've posted, but I have a very legit reason!! I just haven't had the time, what with recent events and major cramming because finals are next week.

Am I nervous? VERY. But alas, that's how all tests go eh? I'll be aight, I'm sure :D

Anyways, today's topic is this: the future. I was thinking about the future yesterday before I fell into sleep. Well, about MY future anyways. I've always wanted to do something artsy, like be a movie animator for Dreamworks or Pixar. Or maybe someone who makes the album art for CDs. Any of those would be awesome, and the pay pretty well.

But here's the thing I'm worried about. Yknow that phrase? “The best-laid plans of mice and men often go askew”? It's SO true. So, I've decided that in order to stay artsy and keep up to practice, I'm going to be doing some pretty intense art projects, lots of portraits, and painting a murial over the summer. Anyone else got any idears? Feel free to share :)

Since I didn't post yesterday, I'll go ahead and figure out the song, quote, and news story FOR YESTERDAY. then the song and quote for today, so you all get double the awesomeness :)

YESTERDAY'S....

....Song: “Dead in Ditches” by Hollywood Undead. To me, this song basically says “Don't mess with me or else”. I LOVE IT!! Plus, the bands masks are pretty legit. Too bad Deuce isn't there anymore.

...WEIRD STORY!!-
-”Long lost Brothers discover each other by accident!!”
A pair of brothers met up on accident on a beach in Cali. One brother asked a stranger to take a picture of him and his family posing on the beach. After the picture, the brother and the stranger got to talking, and found that they were both from the same town in Massechusetts, then kept on talking. Turns out, they had yet another thing in common: Dad. So, two brothers, who didn't even know that they had a brother, were reunited thanks to a camera!

....Quote: “If music be the food of love, play on.” ~ William Shakespeare.

TODAYS....

....Song: “Higher” by Creed. If there was ever a song that I would suggest to anyone, this would be it, because it's talking about escaping reality, which is something that everyone should do every now and then.

....Quote: “Making mistakes is a lot better than not doing anything.” ~ Billy Joe Armstrong. FINALLY!!! Someone get's it!!!

I should be sitting on that stool, with that hat on my head

So, I feel like a total idiot when it comes to science. Learning about "Space" and "Lightyears" and such, it only makes me think of what's out there. It just makes me go into deeper things, like "Is there a God? Where's heaven?" and stuff like that.

What do I have in the end to show for it? A B grade in science, no homework done, and just yet another thing to ponder. More bigger philosophical questions to which we will never know the answers to.

Anyways, this past weekend was quite an exciting one! I went and saw "Thor", and I gotta say, I'm a big superhero geek, I wasn't really looking forward to this movie. BUT, it was actually pretty good! One of the lines that I'm going to remember for times to come is "Please do me a favor and don'tbedead!!!" XD just awesome. It is definitely a movie to go and see, I recomend it to anyone who likes supers :)

That's all for today folks! (I feel like an old news anchor or something when I say that XD)

So, as is custom, I shall leave you WITH...you guessed it...the song of the day and words of logic.

Song of the Day: "Carry on my Wayward Son" by Kansas. Every time I hear this song, I immediately think of my friend Kansas, because, well, it's obvious isn't it? XD But, both Kansas' are awesome, and I think it's even more ironic that my friend Kansas is a musician! Funny ain't it?? Kansas the band is just awesome, anyone who doesn't like Kansas will be bitten by me >:) and well, same goes for anyone who doesn't like my friend Kansas XD Haha! got your back man :D

WORD to ya motha! (or...anyone else...O_o): "Change in all things is sweet." ~ Aristotle.

L-ive I-n F-reedom E-veryday (L.I.F.E.)

Life, I gotta say, is a little weird at the moment. But hey, Life is weirdness, right? I just wish it was always a good kind of weird, where things were always exciting and random. But alas, there are times when life just goes bad and you have to tough it out.

So here's my philosophy. Live your life the way it happens. Don't be a sissy and give it up when the going gets tough.

Well, ranting and all aside, I am still looking forward to today, because later I shall be getting out of the house to enjoy the great outdoors at a little petting zoo that holds dear memories for me. Shall I bring my camera with me? I think I will :)

That reminds me!! Starting over the course of the summer, I shall start recording some of the things that go on in my daily life, and post them up on the 'tube. So, in a way, I'll be starting my own little youtube series :) There's going to be a lot of changes in my life over the summer, and this way I won't ever forget them

That's all I got for today folks! So, I shall leave you with the song of the day (for yesterday as well because I forgot to post AGAIN), and the kind words of funny wisdom.

YESTERDAYS song: "Real World" By Matchbox 20. I love this song, it  was one of the songs that my older bro sang at my sweet 16 :) Love ya bro!!

Todays song: "Far Away" By Nickelback. This song just goes to show that distance doesn't daunt real love (cheesy, I know, but its still a good song by a great band).

WORDS OF THE FUNNILY WISE: "Any girl can be glamorous. All you have to do is stand still and look stupid." ~ Hedy Lamarr

end of the school is near!!

So, the end of the school year is drawing near, tension is in the air, and I'm rushing to get things done and turned in, right? Well...not exactly...I swear I'm working! But it's just SOO boring, so here I am making yet another post XD Ha!

This time next year, I shall be getting ready for college O.o Kind of a scary thought really. But hey....Art school! HERE I COME AND YOU BETTER BE READY FOR THIS!!! >:D

So now, I shall leave you with the song of the day, news story of the week, and some random quote that is floating around in my brain.

Song of the day: "Just Like A Pill" ~ Pink. Yeah I know, not something that I would normally listen to, but the older Pink songs aren't that bad. This one is talking about a guy, and how he's bad for her but she just can't let him go. Does anyone else notice that most songs are about relationships? Whatever happened to songs about peaches? O.o

News story of the week: Police Officers dress up as doctors to test citizens!!

Apparently, some Turkish doctors dressed up as doctors to test citizens. They went door to door and told citizens to try this random pill, and were alarmed at how many people did it. They then un-disguised themselves and told the citizens not to be so trusting.

Quote of the day: "A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man." ~ Lana Turner (?)

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Good morning to all my fellow people out there in the world! :) So, after all the stuff that has gone on at my house, my mom has decided to get me these cards to “help boost your confidence and make me feel good about myself”. Really, all they are are just these laminated cards with little sayings to make one smile. So, since I have quite a bit, I thought that I should share these cards with you :D

“I trust life- life brings me everything that I need at the perfect time and in the perfect way.”

I find this a little bit hard to believe. Sometimes, I think that people earn what they deserve, good or bad. We make our own decisions that result in our own consequence, so in a way, we decide what we bring on ourselves WHEN we bring it.

So anyways, now I'm done with my little rant, so I shall end this post with the random song and words of the wise!

I will go ahead and pick two random songs, since I forgot to post yesterday (I am such a dork, I made a post for yesterday and I FORGOT TO POST IT!! Gah!!).

Random song for yesterday: “Every Rose Has It's Thorn.” By Poison. This song is a rock n roll ballad from the 80s about a love gone stale, and how it just seems to be at a stand still.

Random Song for today: “Far Away” By Nickelback. This song is about how he's sorry that there was a distance, but that he still loves the girl that he's talking about. It's one of the best Nickelback songs out there, I would recommend it to anyone :)

WORDS of the wise!!- Everyone is your best friend when you are successful. Make sure that the people that you surround yourself with are also the people that you are not afraid of failing with.” ~Paula Abdul (you know, that one judge from American Idol that..well...kind of isn't a judge anymore? yeah her lol!).

By the way....I'd like to give a shout out to some people that I know :D
To Katie Davin, for being my bestest friend in the whole wide world, you are someone that I miss dearly!! Life just isn't the same because I don't see your face at public high school anymore!!
To Shelby Rose, this is for keeping in touch with me even though we haven't talked in FOREVER!! I miss you!
To Kansas Barker, this is for inspiring me to even start this ridiculous blog XD And also because you know what life can be like, and you're stickin it out and hangin tough :D
To Zach Price, for just being you, making me laugh until my cheeks and sides hurt like hell XD And for being there and listening to my ridiculous ranting and raving, I thank you :D
To Tucker Wilkes, for helping me with my first year at an online school!! Without this kid, I would not have made it through a day of online high school without crying tears of boredom!! Also, our virtual wars are pretty epic, it's just a matter of time before we have wars with marshmellows and raw spaghetti noodles and DRAGONS!! XD
And last but not least, I thank the person who came up with the idea of music and harmonies, without which I would not be able to live :) Music= life!

TGIF!!! (which, sounds like tuh-giff XD)

G'day all! I got some good news....IT'S FRIDAY!!! (BTW... ^^ There's my friday dance XD) :D Who knows? Today could be a really good day? Friday's always seem to hold that promise that things are going to go well!! Today's weather so far is holding up, I'm expecting a nice day. And who knows, maybe a good long run? hmm.....

So, I was watching this scary movie yesterday, The House of a Thousand Corpses, and I happened to notice that each of the characters were kind of stupid. First clue? They separated themselves. In a basement FULL of torture devices. In a haunted house. I mean, cmon, if you were in a house full of terrible tools and such, and knew the house was haunted, would you want only person around to help you if you got in trouble, or would you rather be in a group? It's kind of funny though how stupid characters can be in scary movies.

Anyways, if anyone has any good scary movie suggestions, let me know because i want to watch a really scary movie tonight >:D

Also, does anyone know of any online video makers? Like, one that I can make short videos and download them to my computer for free, and without downloading any software? Cause, that'd be AWESOME :D If you can help me out, please leave comments  down below!

Well kiddies, I'm out of here for the day (maybe) and for the weekend (probably) XD So I will now leave you with these words of wisdom AND...wait for it....THE SONG OF THE DAY!!

CONFUCIUS-LIKE WORDS: "Love is a game that two can play and both win." ~ Eva Gabor (the chick that did Duchess' voice on that old-ish movie "The Aristocats")

SONG OF THE DAY: "Lips of an Angel" By Hinder. When I heard this song, I knew that I had to have it, because its just that awesome! :D

Songs from this week: "Two steps behind" ~ Def leppard, "Hearts Burst Into Fire" ~ Bullet for my Valentine, and "Lips of an Angel" ~ Hinder :)

Back to the future

I woke up this morning, from this REALLY weird dream. I dreamed that I was visiting myself in the future, but in different instances. Like, the first time that I visited myself in the future, I was a successful artist that pretty much remaking the Dreamworks company. Then, I went back to the past (well, actually, that would be the present then wouldn't it?).

Then, I went to the future again, and saw myself in a completely different scenario. In this part, I was walking home, wearing cheap clothes and worn out shoes. It was at night and I was alone. But then I was caught by a gang. Somehow, though, I managed to escape relatively ubscathed. Then it was back to the present for me.

I went to the future one more time, and this time, I saw myself as an old, decrepit, dying lady. I was sleeping, and I didn't wake up. At least its a painless way to die

But anways, after I woke up from the dream, I got to thinking about the future, and how just one little thing, one little change or plan, can either ruin you or make you into the best, most successful person that you can possibly be.

All it takes is the will and guts, right?

Anyways, I'm off my soapbox now. Time to get back to work! So I leave you with the song of the day, and my daily words of wonderfullness :D

Song of the Day: "Hearts Burst Into Fire" By Bullet For My Valentine. This is the song that got me hooked on the band :D

Words of wonderfullness: "If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died" ~ Nickelback "If Everyone Cared" Lyrics. I know its not a QUOTE quote, but its something that people should take in mind...Plus, I like the song :)

By the way, you all should check out this video, I found it entertaining :D

a slow hell

Isn't funny how life can just turn its back on you in a flash? How it seems like the world is against you all of a sudden? Well, folks, that just happened to me. All my luck has turned bad and I honestly don't believe things can get worse, when it comes to the relationship between me and my parents.

Life, what I would give to give you a Pause or a Rewind button.

But, that's just the way it is, right? When the going gets tough, you get tougher and take the bull by the horns, move on.

That's SOO much easier said than done!

Time to bunker down, and blast up the headphones.

change of plans...

"The plans of mice and men often go askew." Boy, John Steinbeck was right on the dot then!

Speaking of plans, I've made a couple of plans and came up with a few idears for thees blog o' mine :) The first idear....is....(in big voice) SONG OF THE DAY!!! This means that I will randomly think of a song, and whatever song it is, it is the song of the day :D

And idear numero dos is...WEIRD NEWS STORIES!!! I mean, we hear stuff on the news about celebrities and sports and natural catastrophies, but we never hear anything about the weird interesting stuff! So, every wednesday, I will post a brief summary about a very weird news story, new or old :D

SONG OF THE DAY!!! - "Two Steps Behind" By Def Leppard (This song is one of my all time favorites, it touches my heart every time).

WEIRD NEWS STORY OF THE WEEK!

"Check Out The World's Most Advanced...Toilet?"

So apparently, Kohler's has come out with a brand new toilet! It plays music....AND ITS REMOTE CONTROLLED! Well, at least if you forget to flush, you can use the remote and not bother going back to the bathroom eh? XD

BUT!...It is SO advanced, no one can fix it because they don't know how! Plus, it costs a butt load!....no pun intended... XD haha!

WORDS OF WONDERFULLNESS

Something NEW

So, thanks to one of my friends -cough cough KANSAS cough cough- I have been inspired to make meh own blog :) So, just a heads up, you'll be seeing me ranting and raving, probably mood swing a little bit...But hey, I'm a girl, you gotta give me props XD

Also, another thing that you should know, I kinda sorta REALLY thrive off randomness, so if you see random stuff up here, that ees why :D

So, I guess, the main point of this blog is....for it to be a cure for my boredom XD But! Don't get me wrong! I'm gonna give it my all to make this blog as entertaining for you all as it is for me ;D Ha!!

Now, since I dont have anything more to say as of yet, I leave you with this quote of wonderfullness words:

What would we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?" ~ George Eliot
